George Jones

Mr Jones has more than 35 years experience in the mining, banking and finance industries and has been a director of a number of private and publicly listed companies. He was instrumental in overseeing the growth of Portman Mining Limited over the course of a decade, taking it from a start-up iron ore producer in the early 1990’s to a 6 million tonnes per annum producer of direct shipping hematite ore with a market capitalisation of over $600 million in 2005. Mr Jones has a Bachelor of Business degree from Curtin University of Western Australia.

Tim Netscher

Mr Netscher has broad-based experience at senior level in the international mining industry, in roles spanning marketing, operations management, project management and business development. His previous experience includes a period as Senior Vice President of Newmont Asia pacific; Managing Director of Vale Australia; Senior Vice President and COO of PT Inco; President and COO at QNI Pty Ltd (part of the BHP Billiton group); Executive Director of Impala Platinum Limited and Project Director, Business Development and Exploration at Billiton Plc. Mr Netscher is also a non-executive director of Industrea Limited, a ASX 300 company. Mr Netscher holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering, Bachelor of Commerce and an MBA.

Michael O’Neill

Michael O’Neill joined the ANZ Bank in Rangiora, New Zealand in 1963. In 1979 He was appointed Manager Corporate Accounts, followed by a period in Strategic Planning NZ, where he was appointed Senior Manager in 1983. In 1984 he was transferred to Australia as Senior Manager, Liquidity Control. Other positions in Australia were as Senior Manager, Treasury and Chief Manager, Australian Treasury. He was appointed General Manager Retail Banking, New Zealand in 1989, where he oversaw the integration of PostBank into the ANZ Group before returning to Australia in 1993 and undertook a series of project management roles. Subsequent appointments included, Chief Manager, Melbourne Central Zone and, in January 1996, General Manager, Western Australia. Since his retirement from the ANZ Bank in November 2002, Mr O’Neill has established and operated a boutique investment bank, Cornhill Group Pty Ltd. He is also an independent Director of Perth Market Authority and is on the Board of Western Australian Institute of Sport.

Robin Marshall

Mr Marshall has previously involved in managing the successful delivery of some of the world’s largest resource projects, including major iron ore projects for BHP Billiton and North Limited.

At Vale Inco, he held the position of Project Director with responsibility for delivery of the multi-billion dollar Goro Nickel Project in New Caledonia through to its commissioning in early 2009. At BHP Billiton Iron Ore, Mr Marshall held the position of Vice President – Asset Development Projects with responsibility for the development of a number of projects in the first wave of expansion in the iron ore business sector.

In additional to these roles, Mr Marshall also previously held key positions of Project Manager for the West Angelas Iron Ore Project with North Limited, Project Director with Iron Ore Company of Canada, Manager Projects for Forrestania Gold/LionOre Australia, Manager Engineering & Project Services for Western Mining Corporation and Project Manager for Nedpac (Signet Engineering).

Paul Hallam

Mr Hallam is an accomplished and respected resource industry leader who has over 30 years experience working in senior executive positions with leading Australian and International resource companies. From 2008 to 2011, Mr Hallam held the position of Director – Operations with Fortescue Metals Group, where he led FMG’s operational turnaround during the Global Financial Crisis and stabilised operations to underpin the expansion of production. He was previously Executive General Manager – Development & Projects with Newcrest Mining Limited, where he oversaw completion of the Telfer Expansion Project within a reset budget and schedule in a period of unprecedented competition for labour and materials.

Mr Hallam previously held senior positions with Alcoa World Alumina Australia, including Director – Victorian Operations and General Manager of the Kwinana Alumina Refinery, and Executive General Manager of North Limited’s Base and Precious Metals Division, General Manager of North Limited’s Gold Business Unit and General Manager of the Kanowna Belle Gold Mine.

Mr Wang Heng

Mr Yu is currently Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Ansteel and Manager of Ansteel Finance Company, positions he has held since 2001. He was previously Assistant General Manager and Deputy Chief Accountant with Ansteel and, before joining the Group in 1998, held a number of senior academic and management positions at the Northeastern Institute of Technology in China.

Mr Wang Heng

Mr Chen is currently Vice President of Ansteel and the former Chairman of its subsidiary Ansteel Mining Company. He held a wide range of engineering and senior management positions with Ansteel Mining Company since 1982, including Assistant Manager, General Manager and Chairman. He was appointed as Vice President of Ansteel in November 2005.

Mr Shao Anlin

Mr Shao has been working for Ansteel Group for more than 20 years. He has a PHD in Mining and has held a host of senior positions in Ansteel’s iron ore operation, including Chief Engineer of Dong An Shan Iron Ore Mine, General Manager of Yan Qian Shan Iron Ore Mine and Deputy General Manager of Gong Chang Ling Iron Ore Co.In 2006, Mr Shao was appointed General Manager of Ansteel Group Mining Company. He is also the President of the Metallurgical Mine Association of China.
